It's a great restaurant with additional parking space located behind the establishment. An open concept layout that seems to accommodate wedding receptions and other events (Audio & projector are already setup).

The menu was very simple, but it definitely could use pictures, and a brief description of the food items to help new comers have a better understanding in choosing the appropriate dish. Each dish we ordered are definitely for sharing of at least 3-4 people. You get your value, but the taste may not be appropriate to all audience especially with dietary restrictions and to individuals who are not ready to try all new dishes.

These are the dishes that I highly recommend: mápó dòuf, Yu Xiang Qie Zi Bao (Braised Eggplant in claypot), dàndàn miàn, and huíguōròu. Please be aware that you will be experiencing a numbing spice that would linger in your mouth.

Overall, I would go back again.

I came to Chef Tian within months of it opening and it was crazy busy. The food options were limited since most kitchen items were sold out at the time, so they added a spin to the traditional dishes we ordered. For example, we ordered the water boiled fish and they ran out of fish fillets so gave us a steamed fish instead (extra charge, of course).

The food took a long time to come out and one of our dishes were missed but I understand because it was so busy. My friends were not impressed with the service at all.

In terms of taste, I really enjoyed everything but it put a damper on the meal when the dishes didn't all come at once and we didn't have a change to eat everything together.

All in all, I will give it another shot but I will wait until the hype dies down.

I came here for my birthday with 15 people and they offer a private room downstairs that has karaoke which was nice! We ordered 12 dishes I couldn't handle most of them because too spicy but my friends could and they liked it. This is a place if you like that EXTRA SPICY authentic schezwan (however you spell it) food. If you can't handle too spicy you'll need to tell them to make it mild because let me tell you I WAS SWEATING after cause I thought I could handle it. I reordered to go my top 3 favourite dishes from the 12 we ordered. The jalapeño pork (not super spicy), the cumin lamb (BOMB not even spicy but so much flavour) and the spicy eggplant (medium spicy). The interior of this place is really nice too with gold chairs so if you wanted to do like a baby shower here would be suitable

I was told of this restaurant by an office colleague.  This is a Hunan Chinese restaurant and let me tell you, spicy, spicy, spicy!

Ordered the following for our table:
Chicken Soup - simply hearty and delicious
Stir fried pork intestines, pork liver, pork kidney with tons of dried red Szechuan chillies - really delicious.  You must have an acquired taste in order to eat pig innards.  The innards are cut up into tiny bits with tiny bits of Szechaun vegetables to accent the dish.
Lamb in cumin on a hot plate - Really hot and not too spicy dish.  The lamb pieces also cut into smaller pieces is actually covered with chili seeds.  I like that flavor of the lamb dish!
Eggplant in clay pot - another spicy dish with dried red Szechuan chillies and cut up green chilies!  Delicious!
    Must eat with rice.

Service was a little slow and have to wave down the waitress.

Ladies washroom need some attention-no hand towels.

    Ample parking around the restaurant.

Not for the faint of heart!  If you don't like spicy food, do not venture into this restaurant!  Overall, I enjoyed it 'cos I like the spicy food but I can't eat too much of it.
